Jeff'S Favorite Lasagna(Student Favorite) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. mild sausage
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 clove minced garlic
1 Tbsp. whole basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 box lasagna noodles (8 to 10 noodles)
3 c. creamy cottage cheese
1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
2 beaten eggs
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Preparation

Brown meat; spoon off excess fat.
Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles as directed on box.
Combine remaining ingredients, except Mozzarella cheese.
Place half the noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish or regular lasagna pan; add half the cottage cheese filling.
Add half the Mozzarella and half the meat sauce.
Repeat layers.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until hot and bubbly, 30 to 45 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
