Glen'S Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 eggs, separated
    2 sticks margarine, softened
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift flour and soda together.
    Add 1/4 teaspoon salt to egg whites and beat until stiff.
    Cream the margarine and sugar and add remaining salt, vanilla and almond. Add the egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add the flour mixture alternately with sour cream. Fold in egg whites and pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour.
    Cool on rack.
