Sicilian Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. vegetable oil
1 large onion, sliced
1 large green pepper, sliced
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
1 1/4 lb. boneless chicken, skin removed
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped and drained
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Heat oil in a large nonstick pan over medium heat.
Add onion, green pepper and mushrooms.
Cook until slightly tender, about 10 minutes.
Cut chicken into 2-inch pieces; add to onion mixture. Cook, turning chicken frequently, until pink is gone.
Add remaining ingredients; simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, until heated through and chicken is cooked.
Serve with rice.
