Wassail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. apple cider or juice
    1 cinnamon stick
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. honey
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1 (18 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple juice (2 1/4 cups)
    orange slices
    cinnamon sticks
Preparation
    Heat cider and 1 cinnamon stick to boiling.
    Decrease heat. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Uncover and stir in remaining ingredients, except orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
    Simmer 5 minutes longer.
    Serve in punch bowl.
    Float orange slices on top. Use cinnamon sticks as stirrers.
