Ritz Snacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 boxes Ritz Bits
    2 to 3 c. pecans (I use three)
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix bits and pecans in large bowl.
    Heat sugar, butter and Karo, bringing to a boil.
    Boil 4 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add soda and vanilla.
    Pour mixture in bowl and mix well.
    Spread in pan and bake in 200\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on wax paper.
    Separate into small pieces when cooled.
