Tomato Topped Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. chopped basil
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1 lb. fresh asparagus spears
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. chopped tomato
Preparation
    Combine basil, oil, vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper in a jar. Cover tightly and shake vigorously.
    Place asparagus in vegetable steamer (over boiling water), cover and steam 4 to 6 minutes. Arrange asparagus on serving platter and sprinkle with chopped tomato.
    Drizzle vinaigrette mixture over asparagus.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
