Hot Spiced Pineapple-Cranberry Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. whole cloves
    1/2 Tbsp. whole allspice
    3 sticks cinnamon, broken
    1/2 c. brown sugar, lightly packed
    2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. pineapple juice or pineapple-grapefruit
    2 c. cranberry juice
Preparation
    Simmer spices, sugar and water together for 10 to 15 minutes. Double strain (to clear) into kettle containing juices and salt. Heat.
    Serve from warmed punch bowl.
    Yields 12 punch cups.
