Western Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. water
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Sift flour and sugar into bowl.
Combine margarine, cocoa and water in saucepan and cook to boiling.
Pour over sugar and flour and mix well.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix.
Pour into greased sheet cake pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Prepare icing 5 minutes before cake is done.
