My Fudge(Pralines) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
    1/3 c. Karo
    1/2 c. milk
    dash of salt
    4 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cocoa; add Karo and milk (I use a #8 iron skillet.)
    Bring to boil and boil 3 minutes.
    Set off the stove; add butter, vanilla and nuts and stir until lightly hard. (Sometimes I put pan in some cold water to help cool quickly; also if pecans are frozen, it will harden quicker.)
    Drop by teaspoons onto wax paper before it hardens.
    When completely cool, it may be put into a tight container to store.
