Easy Red Beans & Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Smoked sausage, cut into 1/2 inch slices
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2-15 oz. cans kidney beans, drained
    16 oz. can chopped tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Cook sausage over low heat 5 - 8 minutes. Add onion, green pepper, and garlic; cook until tender. Drain, if necessary. Add beans, tomatoes, and seasonings. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Serve over rice.
