Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. light corn syrup
    2 c. peanuts (dry roast)
    2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and water in 3-quart pan.
    Cook and stir to 230\u00b0.
    Add margarine.
    Stir frequently.
    When temperature reaches 280\u00b0, add nuts.
    Stir constantly to 305\u00b0.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in soda quickly and pour on greased cookie sheet. Cool and crack.
