Stromboli(Italian Bread Loaf With Meat And Cheese) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ball of bread or pizza dough
    1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    3 oz. turkey pastrami, thinly sliced
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. chopped plum tomatoes
    2 tsp. oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place risen dough on floured board.
    Flatten and stretch into approximately 12 x 15-inches.
    Spread ingredients over surface of dough in following order:
    tomatoes, onions, pastrami, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
    Roll dough lengthwise in jellyroll fashion.
    Pinch edges to secure ingredients.
    Roll will resemble roll of French bread.
    Carefully place on nonstick cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes until golden brown.
    Cool well.
    Cut into 3/4-inch slices just before serving.
