Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 c. shredded cabbage
    2 medium onions, finely chopped
    1 medium green pepper, finely chopped
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 c. coarsely crushed sour cream and chive croutons
    1 c. milk or half and half
Preparation
    Cook cabbage in boiling water until almost tender. Drain. In separate pan, saute onions and peppers in butter until tender. Add to cabbage. Stir in cheese and add 1 1/2 cups crushed croutons. Transfer to greased 9 x 13 dish. Pour milk over top. Do not stir. Sprinkle with remaining croutons. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
