Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large eggs
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vinegar
dash of nutmeg
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. yellow corn meal
1/2 c. milk
dash of salt
Preparation

Beat eggs, add sugar and soft butter.
Beat all together, then add corn meal, vinegar, milk and salt.
Pour in unbaked pie shell and sprinkle nutmeg on top.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until consistency of Jell-O.
