Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 small potato, cubed
    1 small carrot, sliced
    1 tsp. oil
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil (optional)
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pinch of pepper
    1/2 zucchini, sliced
    1 c. cooked kidney beans
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    2 oz. spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces or elbow macaroni
Preparation
    Fry onion, potato and carrot in oil until onion is golden brown and soft.
    Add water, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
    Boil gently for 15 minutes.
    Add zucchini and boil gently for 15 more minutes.
    Add beans, tomatoes and spaghetti or macaroni.
    Boil 12 to 15 minutes until spaghetti or macaroni is just cooked.
