Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
3 well beaten eggs
3 c. fresh apples
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. pecans
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine Crisco, sugar, eggs, apples, raisins and pecans.
Sift together flour, soda and salt; add to mixture then add vanilla.
Bake 1 hour and 25 minutes at 350\u00b0 in well-greased tube pan.
