Gelatin Strawberries (Candy)(Club Member: Jason Harvey) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (15 oz.) can condensed milk
1 lb. coconut (fine)
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. finely ground almonds
1 tsp. vanilla (clear)

Preparation

Mix together first the vanilla and almond extract. Mix milk, coconut, 1 package Jell-O, almonds, sugar and flavorings. Form into strawberry balls. Roll in remaining package of strawberry Jell-O. Allow to dry on wax paper and store in airtight containers. Do not refrigerate. Yields 25.
