Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. cornstarch
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients with milk.
Cook over boiling water.
Stir continuously until thick. Cover and cook 10 minutes.
Stir in hot mixture and egg yolks.
Cook 2 minutes. Stir in coconut and vanilla. Cool to room temperature.
Beat egg whites.
Add sugar. Beat until fluffy.
