Baked Eggplant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium eggplant, peeled
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    3 c. light cream
Preparation
    Cut eggplant in 1-inch slices.
    Butter a shallow baking dish. Place slices in dish side-by-side.
    Brush tops with melted butter. Sprinkle with crumbs, then pecans.
    Pour in cream and bake 35 to 45 minutes at 325\u00b0 until tender.
