Cream Of Garlic Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. + 1 pt. chicken stock
    2 large sliced onions
    4 bulbs (full) garlic
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 stick butter
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 large loaf day old French bread
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in melted butter for approximately 15 minutes.
    Add chicken stock.
    Simmer 1/2 hour.
    Strain off onion and garlic.
    Add bread to strained broth.
    Simmer 10 minutes. Remove and place broth and bread mix in blender.
    Blend until smooth.
    Return to stove.
    Add cream and thyme.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
