Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 potatoes, chopped
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    2/3 tsp. pepper
    8 slices bacon, fried crisp
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Place first 6 ingredients in saucepan.
    Cover with water. Cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
    Fry bacon and drain.
    Make white sauce of cornstarch and milk.
    Add sauce to soup.
    Add crumbled bacon; heat thoroughly.
    Serve.
