Cranberry Orange Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. orange juice
1 orange rind, ground
2 Tbsp. melted butter
2 Tbsp. hot water
1 c. raw whole cranberries
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and sugar in a large bowl and set aside.
Mix beaten egg with orange juice, rind, butter, and hot water.
Fold flour mixture into egg mixture until blended.
Do not beat.
Gently fold in cranberries and walnuts. Spoon into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch greased loaf pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
Test center with toothpick.
Cool on rack for 15 minutes before removing from pan.
Yield: 1 loaf.
