Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. white corn meal mix
1 c. cream-style corn (small can)
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 eggs
1 small onion, chopped fine
1 c. sharp cheese, grated
1/4 c. shortening
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
2 chili peppers, chopped
Preparation

Beat eggs; add all ingredients except cheese.
Pour 1/2 of batter in baking dish (2 quart casserole) or iron skillet, sprinkle
1/2
of cheese over, add rest of batter and top with remaining cheese.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
