Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. Crisco
3 c. flour
5 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream the Crisco and sugar together.
Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add salt and baking powder to flour and sift.
Mix in flour and milk alternately.
Add vanilla or any other flavoring to the batter.
Mix well.
Bake in greased tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until tested as done.
