Grandma'S Coleslaw 'N' Dressing(In Honor Of Hasty Grand Slam) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 carrot
    1/2 green pepper
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cider vinegar
    1 tsp. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Shred cabbage (coarsely); it will make 4 to 5 cups.
    Shred carrot.
    Combine both in a large bowl.
    Remove seeds and stems from green pepper (chop or dice), and add to the cabbage-carrot mixture.
    Add celery seed.
    Combine well.
    Pour chilled coleslaw dressing (about 1/2 cup) over the cabbage mixture and mix well.
