Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. unbroken pecan halves
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, salt, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla and pecans.
    Mix slightly beaten eggs.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake 50 minutes to 1 hour in oven at 350\u00b0 until knife inserted in center of filling comes out clean.
    Cool.
    Pie is set more for cutting when cool.
