Ice Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick melted margarine
    36 crushed Oreos
    1/2 gal. ice cream
    1 prepared frosting (dark fudge)
    1 small jar peanuts
    1 medium size Cool Whip
    1 butterscotch topping (optional)
Preparation
    Crush Oreos and reserve 1/4 cup for later.
    Melt 1 stick margarine and mix with Oreos.
    Spread on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Slice 1/2 gallon of any flavor ice cream and place over the cookie crumbs.
    Spread 1 can of prepared frosting over ice cream layer.
    (You can soften this in microwave or in bowl of hot water to spread easier.)
