Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks (packed in juice)
    1/3 c. cider vinegar
    1/3 c. packed brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. ketchup
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. cayenne
    1 1/2 lb. pork, cut in 1-inch chunks
    1 medium onion, cut in 1-inch chunks
    1 green pepper, cored and cut in strips
    2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
    1 medium tomato, seeded and cut into chunks
Preparation
    Drain pineapple juice into 2-quart casserole.
    Set pineapple chunks aside.
    Blend vinegar, sugar, ketchup, cornstarch, soy sauce, garlic powder and cayenne into juice.
    Stir in pork. Microwave at power level 7 for 9 to 12 minutes or until pork is no longer pink, stirring every 3 minutes.
    Stir in onion, green pepper and carrots.
    Cover and microwave at power level 7 for 6 to 9 minutes or until sauce thickens and becomes translucent and vegetables are tender and crisp, stirring every 3 minutes.
    Stir in tomato and pineapple chunks.
    Microwave uncovered at power level 7 for 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.
    Serve with rice.
