Orange Pecandy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. corn syrup
    3/4 c. Pet milk
    juice of 1 orange
    1 tsp. orange peel, grated
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. lightly toasted pecans
Preparation
    Bring sugar, syrup and milk to boil.
    Add orange juice and cook to 234\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Add peel and cook to 250\u00b0. Cool.
    Add butter, vanilla and nuts.
    Beat well.
    Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
    Store in airtight container.
