Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    4 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 crushed bananas
    1 c. black walnuts
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
    Combine soda and buttermilk; stir until soda dissolves.
    Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Add walnuts and bananas, stirring well. Pour batter into greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 22 to 25 minutes.
    Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove and cool on racks.
