Escalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. potatoes
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion (optional)
    3 c. top milk
    2 Tbsp. flour
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Slice potatoes.
    Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk. Place half of potatoes in a greased casserole and cover with half of the sauce and seasonings.
    Repeat.
    Cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Uncover and continue baking until top forms a brown crust and potatoes are done.
