Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    3 egg yolks
    3/4 c. cold water
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until medium stiff.
    Drop egg yolks into cold water.
    Beat until foamy.
    Add sugar gradually, beating continuously.
    Sift cake flour, salt and baking powder.
    Fold sifted mixture into egg yolk and add vanilla or lemon.
    Stir egg whites and fold in.
    Use tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
    Invert when done.
