8-inch baked pie shell
3/4 c. softened butter or margarine
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 oz. baking chocolate, melted and cooled
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Blend in chocolate and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well (at least 5 minutes) after each egg.
Pour into pie shell and chill at least 2 hours.
Serve with whipped cream.
