Yeast Raised Donuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water (about)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    8 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. cake flour
    5 c. bread flour
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water and let stand for 20 minutes.
    Cream sugar, shortening, nutmeg and salt.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add vanilla.
    Sift flours and baking powder and add.
    Add milk slowly. Do not make dough too soft.
    Let set for 30 minutes.
    Roll out and cut with a donut cutter.
    Fry in deep fat at 350\u00b0.
    Dip cooked donuts in Sugar Glaze.
