Kolacky - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened (1 stick)
    3 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. All-Fruit spread (assorted flavors)
    1 egg
    1 tsp. cold water
Preparation
    Combine butter and cream cheese in large bowl. Beat with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth and creamy. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour and salt in a small bowl. Gradually add to margarine mixture, beating until mixture forms soft dough. Divide dough in half; wrap each half in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until firm.
