Vegetable Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. diced onion
2 c. diced potato
6 c. water
4 vegetable bouillon cubes
1 tsp. salt
1 c. diced celery
1 c. diced carrot
1/2 c. diced green pepper
1/2 c. diced white turnip
1/2 c. diced parsnip
1 large tomato, skinned and diced
1/4 c. chopped parsley
Preparation

Saute onion in butter until tender.
Add potato, water, bouillon cubes and salt.
Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
Add celery, carrot, pepper, turnip, parsnip and tomato.
Simmer, covered, 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Just before serving, stir in the parsley.
Makes 6 servings.
