Hasty Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 stick margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Pour water over oatmeal and margarine.
Let stand 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients to oatmeal mixture.
Mix by hand.
Pour into greased and floured sheet pan or 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
