Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. margarine
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) chocolate bits
Preparation

Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Set aside.
Melt margarine over low heat.
Remove from heat.
Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
Add blended dry ingredients and nuts.
Mix well.
Spread in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle chocolate bits over dough.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool on rack.
Cut into bars.
