Baked Onion - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large onions
    butter
    dark brown sugar
    bacon
Preparation
    In Pyrex dish, place four large onions.
    Quarter each onion and place a pat of butter in each quarter.
    Place a heaping tablespoon of dark brown sugar on top of each onion.
    Cut a piece of bacon in half and crisscross on top of onion.
    Cover and bake in a preheated 325\u00b0 oven for an hour or until onions are tender.
    Salt and pepper a little.
    Serves 4.
