Barbecue Quail - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 quail
2 c. tomato juice
1 c. vinegar
1/2 lb. butter
1 clove garlic, chopped
deep fat
red pepper
black pepper
salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Split quail down back and brown in deep fat.
Pour off all fat and pour the following sauce over them.
Cook slowly for about 2 hours, basting frequently with the sauce.
