Chicken And Fennel - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 chicken thighs
1 tsp. fennel seed
1/4 c. chopped mushrooms
3 Tbsp. sesame or safflower oil
1 c. plain yogurt
1/4 c. chopped green onions
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Heat oil in heavy skillet and brown chicken.
Remove to baking dish.
In same skillet, saute onion, garlic, mushrooms and fennel until onions are golden.
Don't brown them.
Stir to keep from burning.
Remove from heat; add yogurt and blend, scraping browned bits from bottom of skillet.
Pour over chicken.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes, covered.
Remove cover and bake 15 minutes to brown.
