Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 dash salt
    1 c. corn syrup
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 to 2 c. pecan halves
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, salt, syrup and butter or margarine. Add pecan halves. Pour into a 9-inch shallow unbaked pie crust. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between the center and edge comes out clean. Cool before serving.
