Holiday Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. potatoes, peeled, cooked and hot (about 12 medium)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. onions, finely chopped (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper (optional)
    1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Mash potatoes with mixer or by hand.
    When all lumps are removed, add cream cheese in small pieces and then the butter. Beat well until cheese and butter are both melted and completely mixed.
    Mix in sour cream.
