Frozen Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 ripe bananas, mashed
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3/4 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 (9 oz.) can pineapple, well drained (may use more)
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    5 drops food coloring (optional)
Preparation
    In mixer, mash bananas; add next 4 ingredients.
    Stir in pineapple and nuts.
    Add food coloring.
    Spoon into 9 or 10-inch pan and freeze.
    Serve on lettuce.
