24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head lettuce
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    1 pkg. frozen peas, cooked and drained
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    13 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    purple onion, thinly sliced
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 pt. mayonnaise
    2 c. grated Cheddar
Preparation
    In a large bowl, place lettuce, celery, pepper, onion, peas, Parmesan cheese and mayonnaise (spread like icing), sugar (over all), grated Cheddar and bacon.
    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
    Toss before serving.
