Pineapple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. margarine
    6 large eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, margarine and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Add dry ingredients, one tablespoon at a time, alternating with milk. Add vanilla and fold in pineapple.
    Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Put into a cold oven. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours. Cool cake for 10 minutes and remove from pan. Frost with Pineapple Icing.
