Denver Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. sweet milk
1 cake yeast
flour
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. sugar
1 c. lard
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

In saucepan, bring milk to a boil and let cool.
Add yeast to milk and then add enough flour to make a thick batter.
Let rise 1 hour.
Add mashed potatoes, sugar, softened lard, baking powder, baking soda, salt and more flour, as you would to make light bread.
Let rise again, then roll out.
Cut with biscuit cutter. Let rise again.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until brown.
