Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium green peppers
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 c. catsup or tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cut green peppers in half lengthwise.
    Remove seeds and membranes.
    Mix ground beef, tomato sauce, rice, egg, oregano, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    Spoon into pepper halves.
    Place on roasting rack and cover loosely with wax paper.
