Chocolate Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornmeal
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1/2 white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add beaten eggs, melted margarine, Karo and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Add pecans if desired.
    Pour in unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until knife inserted comes out clean, about 45 minutes.
