Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli
2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 c. milk
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
2 tsp. butter
bread crumbs
Preparation

Cook broccoli.
Cook onions in boiling salted water until tender.
Drain water.
In saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter; blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk.
Cook and stir until very bubbly, then reduce heat and blend in cream cheese.
Place broccoli in casserole dish and pour sauce over it and stir well. Top casserole with sharp cheese.
Melt 2 teaspoons butter and pour over casserole, then sprinkle bread crumbs over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
